About East Valley Eye Center & Our Doctors

Our eyecare practice was established in 1944 when Walter Weil, MD opened the first ophthalmology practice in the San Fernando Valley, in Toluca Lake. Dr Weil saw many of the movie stars and other prominent patients during his 31 years in practice there. In 1975, Dr. Lawrenece Green took over the practice as Dr Weil retired. The practice remained in Toluca Lake for more than a decade before East Valley Eye Center was relocated to our current, larger office across from Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. In 2011, doctors Farid Eghbali and Kourosh Eghbali purchased East Valley Eye Center and manage the practice today. Today, eye doctors Kourosh Eghbali, Farid Eghbali, and Payam Amini continue to provide caring, professional vision care in our medical surgical center.
